NOTE: Longacres shows for the rest of the season will begin with Jumpers at 9:45 AM

Points after Hasty Hills first show:

We will try to have points totals updated by tomorrow and posted online here. WeÕre a little behind tabulating points because of all the work we at Longacres are doing getting ready for our first show this weekend. But weÕll have lots of helpers freed up after the show this week and will be better about getting points posted quickly for the rest of the summer.

 

Thanks to Becky and Jamie who always give us their points in a very organized form. We should quickly have the points from Hasty Hills all done.

 

There are a couple of things weÕre still working out with the Newstead points. A couple of divisions were combined, and you will have the option of counting any points you earned towards either division. After we post the Newstead Equestrian Center points later this week, you will have two more weeks rather than the usual one week to ask that we correct any mistakes in points you should have earned.

 

NOTE: Tentative Newstead points are now posted at this link. We are still tracking down a couple of judges cards, so let us know if you donÕt have credit for points in a class. You should have 5, 3, 2, or 1 point for each 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, and 5 for a Championship and three for a reserve Champion. Call Meghan at 716-652-9495 if we need to make a correction. You have until July 3rd to request corrections for this show. Normally, if we are not aware of any problems, points become final one week after each show.

2010 Show News, June 8th:

Thanks to Newstead Equestrian Center for hosting the season opener this past weekend. After a soggy night Friday, the grounds dried out beautifully by mid day Satuday. We had a good turnout, considering the weather forecast, which turned out to be very much too pessimistic. The sun was out most of the day.

 

Thanks to Newstead, Quakerfield, HunterÕs Ridge, Longacres, Dunham Sport Horse, Barb Glica, and many more for bringing groups of riders. (Sorry if I forgot a major exhibitor!) WeÕll have points tabulated in a day or two, definitely by Hasty Hills show time this weekend. Bethany S. rode Quantum to three blues in the schooling jumper division and leads in Jumper Horse points. Courtney and Alyssa from DunhamÕs are close behind! Full results to be posted here soon.
