Bear with me while I look at a couple of cool pictures of my model airplane!

a close fly-by - I almost ducked!

another way to enjoy the great fall foliage this week!

trees on galloping field

Meghan and I took a long walk in the woods and with the ATV - here she is with some cherries in my grandfather's old orchard

more berries in the woods

more berries on the wild bushes

here Meghan is standing on the old hunt course where our tour of the new trails for next year will begin

This picture is taken from the edge of the hunt course field right where Meghan is standing in the previous picture and looking down hill towards the old junior barn. This "new trail" is actually an old trail we have not used for a few years

here's Meghan at about the farthest point down the trail you can see in the previous picture - we still need to trim some branches and pricker bushes

THis picture looks further down the trail from where Meghan was standing in the last picture. The old junior barn / isolation barn is on the far right in the background. about half way down the hill from here, a trail turns off to the left and connects with the regular horse trail near the back of galloping field

this is a circular "loop trail" that makes a circle around the field next to the old junior barn. Meghan is standing right where the long down hill trail crosses the loop

this is the other half of the loop next to the old barn - this will be a protected and safe place to do some cantering on trails next summer!

this is a view looking back up hill towards where we began this photo tour - it's a long run something like the one on powerline trails

here's a closeup of the old barn - it is still savable, but needs help soon

we took this inside the hayloft of the old barn - if it could talk, this loft would have a LOT of stories from the past 65 years or so!

Meghan climbing down from the hay loft

this back side of the old barn is sheltered from the weather by big trees - it is in surprisingly good condition compared to the other walls

there are about forty of these outdoor pipe stalls which we used to keep the horses in between lessons

Meghan and I moved on to the old trail system to enjoy the nice day after we finished our tour of the new trails

Tom on the ATV over the new bridge near the powerline trails

leaves in the water behind Pegasus cabin

fallen leaves down on the loop trail near the big creek

the little waterfalls near the bench on the loop trail

the big Cazanovia creek near the viewing bench by the loop trails

Tom chooses two "skipping stones" to try in the creek

Tom skipping stones - he had some very good ones and a few duds that just went "sploooosh"

rapids in the big creek

the horses in pasture jsut noticing us as we walked up

they come to Meghan immediately since she feeds them every morning
