Around the farm March 7th

The pasture fences sustained very little damage this winter

looks like the log jumps are pretty much all ready for you guys to arrive - except for the snow in the background

the barn looks to be in good shape after a hard winter

this snow drift lasts a long time

glad we landscaped this side of the barn last summer - the grass looks good in the new drainage ditch

this is not the only tree that fell over the winter, but it's not too bad in the woods - we'll have plenty of firewood

There will be a lot of kindling wood for camp fires this summer!

Tom clearing trails

I only have to bend over and do this about a thousand more times!

rushing waters in the spring thaw

time to take the snowblower off and use the grading blade for spring road repair

moving the last of the snow

Tom will be getting VERY used to this view in the next 8 weeks!
